This is a single schema designed to handle four transactions:

1. Inquiry from a Reseller to a Manufacturer regarding availability of one or more items in inventory.

2. Advice from a Manufacturer to a Reseller regarding availability of one or more items in inventory

3. Inquiry from a Manufacturer to a Reseller regarding on-hand inventory of one or more items

4. Advice from a Reseller to a Manufacturer regarding on-hand inventory of one or more items.

• A single transaction can be configured as either an Inquiry or Advice message but not both.

• Advice can address current inventory, future availability (ATP) or both.

• No commitment / obligation is implied to either purchase or reserve inventory using these transactions - they are strictly informational.
