Committee members Brad Eavenson - Bernhardt The proposed Invoice schema has a header/line item structure. The header supports various pertinent dates, all party identification, terms, etc. The line item structure supports flexible product identification, cost, and quantity elements, as well as other information. The schema also contains financial and physical summary components. The number of mandatory elements has intentionally been kept small to make using the schema easy for all parties irrespective of the back-end system generating or receiving the invoice.
